Tips and rules for a good sauna experience

To ensure everyone has a safe and comfortable time in the sauna, we ask that you read these simple tips before you go in the heat:

Before 

  • Wear swimwear and bring two towels – one to sit on and one to dry yourself with.
  • Bring water so you stay well hydrated.
  • It is a good idea to wear swimming shoes or sandals when walking between the bathing hut and the water.

Under

  • It should no Water is used on the stove – it is electric.
  • Listen to your body – if you feel dizzy or unwell, go outside and cool down.
  • Food, smoke and snuff are no allowed inside the bathroom.

After 

  • Leave the bathroom clean and tidy – just as you would like to find it.
  • Please take all your belongings with you and throw your trash in the trash can.
  • Remember to close the door when you leave the bathroom.

Safety

  • Never pray alone – always have someone with you to keep an eye on you.
  • Swimming and ice bathing are at your own risk.
  • People with heart problems, respiratory infections or fever should not use a sauna.
  • Alcohol is not allowed during sauna stays.
