Tours and Excursions in Setesdal

We are located for a variety of activities and trips. Here you can walk around, go cross-country skiing, take a bike ride, or take a fantastic drive by car/motorcycle. Ask us where to go to find the best swimming hole , or the safest fishing spot!

Hiking

In the valley bottom we have a number of prepared hiking trails in cultural landscapes and forest terrain. Up on the heathland, DNT -sør has an extensive network for both day trips and overnight trips in the high mountains. We can help you with hiking maps and trails, or you can explore on your own.

Cross-country skiing:

We have miles of great ski trails in both forest and high mountain terrain in Brokke and at Bjørnevatn. In Brokke we also have a great 5 km lighted trail that starts at Brokkestøylen . Here you can read about Team Fjellreven 's trip to Brokke.

Bicycle:

Cycle route 3 runs through the entire valley with many beautiful access roads. More and more people use us as a base to train for the big bike races (Kristiansand - Hovden, Birken, Nordsjørittet etc). There are a number of old timber trailers that are well suited for downhill cycling. We accommodate our guests on two wheels with garage and drying room.

On 23 May at 12:00, Brokke Suleskarsvegen between Setesdal and Lysefjorden opens, which is a fantastic trip.

Motorcycle / car

We are located in the middle of an eldorado of roads for riding MC. Among others; Brokke-Suleskarvegen- Lysefjorden , Valle-Dalen, RV 9 Setesdal, Haukelifjell and with many old, narrow routes that are excellent for touring MC.
