Winter has its own charm in Setesdal, and has a lot to offer during the winter months. We are only 10 minutes from the skiing adventure in Brokke with an alpine slope and some of the best cross-country trails in Southern Norway.
Cross-country skiing
Brokke is located at the foot of Setesdal Vesthei and has unique cross-country trails in high mountain terrain. Park for free in the center of Brokke, by the bridge over to Brokke Alpinsenter and embark on a trip. Outdoors
Brokke has for a long time been a much-loved outing town. Here you will find a varied and distinctive mountain landscape that is considered particularly snow-sure. The area feels by traffic as infinitely large and exciting for outdoor enthusiasts. Here you get white plains with untouched snow or beautiful cross-country trails for the more discerning.

Alpine
Brokke Alpinsenter is a family-friendly ski center with a calm and family atmosphere, and is an alpine center where young people thrive! The good atmosphere, peace and security, as well as top conditions at all times, Brokke Alpinsenter emphasizes. The alpine center has a three-seater chairlift, a T-hook cover, a T-plate cover in the terrain park and its own children's band by the café, as well as 5 main descents, a jib park and terrain trails.
In the winter season, you get a 20% discount every weekend (!) on both accommodation and lift tickets in Brokke Alpinsenter!
Ice climbing in Setesdal
Sølvgarden Hotell og feriesenter is located in idyllic Setesdal among waterfalls and mountains, and is a perfect starting point for ice climbing. In the sanitary facilities you have access to a washing machine and dryer. All guests have free access to the internet. You can rent snowshoes from us!
